Crunchyroll has announced that it will stream two highly anticipated anime adaptations—Psyren and The Eternal Fool's Words of Wisdom: A Pawsitively Fantastic Adventure—following the platform's industry panel at Japan Expo 2026 in Paris. The announcement adds two exciting fantasy and supernatural titles to Crunchyroll's upcoming lineup for anime fans worldwide.
Psyren Arrives This October
Based on Toshiaki Iwashiro's supernatural action manga, Psyren is scheduled to premiere in October 2026. The story follows Ageha Yoshina, a high school student who is drawn into a mysterious alternate world known as Psyren after finding a strange phone card. Together with other participants, Ageha must survive deadly challenges while uncovering the secrets behind the devastated world and the powerful psychic abilities known as PSI.
The manga originally ran in Weekly Shonen Jump and has remained a fan favorite for its blend of action, mystery, science fiction, and supernatural battles. The long-awaited anime adaptation is expected to introduce the series to a new generation of viewers.
The Eternal Fool's Words of Wisdom Premieres in January 2027
Crunchyroll also confirmed that it will stream The Eternal Fool's Words of Wisdom: A Pawsitively Fantastic Adventure, which is set to premiere in January 2027. The fantasy series follows Asley, an immortal magician who spends 5,000 years mastering magic after accidentally creating the legendary Eternity Elixir. Once he ventures back into the world with his loyal companion Pochi, he discovers that civilization has changed dramatically, leading to an unforgettable adventure filled with comedy and fantasy.
The anime recently revealed its teaser trailer, main cast, and production staff, giving fans their first look at the adaptation ahead of its Winter 2027 debut.
